Secret royal veto powers over new laws to be exposed
A secretive power enjoyed by the Queen and Prince Charles to alter new laws is set to be exposed after the government lost a legal battle to keep details of its application private.

The information commissioner has ruled that the Cabinet Office must publish an internal Whitehall guide to the way the senior royals are consulted before legislation is introduced to ensure it doesn't adversely affect their private interests.

The application of the controversial veto was revealed by the Guardian last year and has been described by constitutional lawyers as "a royal nuclear deterrent". Some believe its existence may underpin the influence Charles appears to wield in Whitehall over pet issues ranging from architecture to healthcare.

It's been a well sold lie Gilly. Almost everyone sees the Royals in those terms. A quaint little remnant of ancient times. I was of that view too until I started looking into them a while back.
The truth of the current Monarchy is very very different to the story we are told. (And no, Mr Icke I'm not referring to your "research" on their liking for blood and stuff).

The door opened when I was investigating Pompeygate of all things. In the process of trying to track down the connections between the tossers that ruined the team I've supported since childhood I found out about the tax havens. That led me into researching the Monarchy's other holdings which led me to see just how powerful those bastards really are on the World stage and how much crap is enabled by them and their holdings.

But no - I'd thought the Royals had lost their clout with the signing of the Lisbon Treaty, though I know they have ridiculous amounts of land and property all over the world.

I still would like to know what the 'dark forces' were that Queenie referred to in one of her annual new year speeches. So if that's also common knowledge to you, please be kind enough to spill it.
