We can see a bit of the front of the second carriage, and more so at the top. It's like the top of the carriage near his head has a bit missing, or it's bent inwards, why would it be that more of the front of the second carriage could be seen towards the top?

I think that's just a matter of perspective tbh BT, I don't really see anything wrong with it.
There will be a small gap between the carriages so you can see a little bit more of the 2nd one.

Edit it's just that it appears that the two carriages when you look at the lines down at the corners of the carriages they appear not to be parallel, I guess that could just be because of the camera angle perspective ?

Sorry 'bout my crude line, though it seems a little odd that's all, but as you say camera perspective could well be the reason.

As far as I know some SERCO 'employees' also have a role in advising/implementing at COBR(A) meetings.

I would put the differing angles of the two carriages down to either, track undulation or summat like bogey suspensionn.
Those are two plausible explanations anyway so i say move on from that one.

They only have 2 or 3 carriages so it's more than likely the front of another train cab that's coupled to it. In fact it must be because I can count another 3 carriages behind it.
