The story of the wogerhumpster munster
if I created an imaginary being and called it a wogerhumpster munster it would belong to me, both through copy-write and patent, it would be mine to do with as I pleased, and no one could deny me that right, I think everyone would have to agree that it is really mine, and as it is imaginary there could be no harm done if I were to torture, destroy, starve, hang, shoot or anything which was my wish to do. So there is no problem at all from anybody. You cant disagree because you it is mine and not yours, so i can go ahead and make laws to defend the rights of the wogerhumpster munster, I give them freedoms, privileges and a certain amount of liberty, all is good, so far anyway. All done using axioms of law, 'he who names a thing owns it'

So both morally and legally it is mine to do with as I please,
this is where it gets interesting, and you start to see the point of the story.
