Controversial subject I know, but it seems the US government has finally found a 'legal' way of removing a mass amount of the guns they currently can't get their hands on.

I realise they're dangerous, bad etc and because of them an awful lot of people die for no reason...but personally, if I lived in the US at the moment the last thing I'd want to be doing is giving up any weapons I had, for a multitude of reasons. That's my opinion.

Time for Americans to start underground militias and hide weapons?

Interesting how they're making a law which kind of makes sense, but it can be used to get weapons from basically anybody. Any person can be labelled mentally ill or unstable... Isn't there pretty much a "mental illness" for nearly everything imaginable?

Gun and ammunition sales in the US must be a large part of their economy,i can't see the law being carried out to rigorously.

Perhaps it will make people purchase more weapons and ammo,these scare stories tend to do so.
