The sad thing is families aren't together anymore , so grandmother/grandfather can't pass on the knowledge

Personally I don't think it is just that families have been distanced -I also think that in some cases the grandparents do not have the skills to impart to their kids when they become parents.

Add to that the 'baby' industry that has changed what is a perfectly natural process into a money making maze of advice and guilt inducing expectations - mothers and fathers face a tremendous amount of pressure when starting a family.

We are our own worst enemy we really are

Parenting classes from common purpose trained council gimps who have never been parents themselves eh?

The mind boggles at authority and how it works.

A life starved of knowledge the right knowledge can become a dangerous weapon for those who think we are fit for their purpous, skills and true knowledge destroys ignorance every time, teach our children well after the institutionalisation of their day is over.
