Anyone seen that Brit scifi TV show from the seventies/eighties? I noticed odd parallels with Sapphire and Steel and David icke. ASSIGNMENT II is the one to look at. This involves a haunted train station: haunted by an entity that FEEDS ON NEGATIVE EMOTION which KEEPS SOULS OF PEOPLE SLAIN IN A TIME LOOP TO FEED ON THEIR DESPAIR AND DISAPPOINTMENT. During this assignment Sapphire is possessed by this evil entity and HER EYES TURN COMPLETELY BLACK. The entity attempts to trick Steel(DAVID McCallum)by pretending to be Sapphire.
See the obvious parallels here? The basic story is Icke's theme, BEFORE HE EVER KNEW IT. And the entity causing Sapphire's eyes to turn black mirrors that of Icke's experience of seeing Ted Heath's eyes turn black.
The duo of Sapphire and Steel are agents of a higher order sent down to fix problems on earth relating to TIME. (how much of Icke's theme relates to the manipulative nature of time on our minds? Time itself is a villain in Icke's theory) Icke believes he is also an agent of a higher order of consciousness, sent down to fix a problem. "TO LIFT A SHADOW." To quote the psychic who fondled his aura. The entity in ASSIGNMENT II manifests as a shadow, as darkness.
The characters of Sapphire and Steel match the persona of Icke. Sapphire is nice and intuitive and always wears BLUE(recall icke's turquoise phase?). Steel is determined and logical and no nonsense(and played by a man called DAVID who could pass for Icke physically). Glue them together and we have Icke.
Sapphire and Steel are later trapped in a time loop themselves in the last assignment(assignment VI), by THE TRANSIENT BEINGS, who are trapped in the distant past but have been helped into the future to attack the duo. The TRANSIENT BEINGS are shape changers, that pretend to be humans caught in the time loop. I see Icke has picked up on the title of THE TRANSPARENT ONES for the entities that work ABOVE the reptilians.
The Transient Beings in the show come from "the past" and use devices to reach the future. These devices also send people back to a certain point in time THE TRIASSIC PERIOD. It is suggested that these devices are set to these coordinates as a means of travel. So it is reasonable that the "past" these shape changing Transient Beings come from that time too. The TRIASSIC PERIOD is the beginning of the Mesozoic Period also known as "the age of reptiles".

The show was on TV a few years before Icke changed. I wonder if he saw it. I wonder if it influenced him. There are other options. Maybe it was programming for US as well as HIM. So we would accept him. Maybe it was just a pre-echo.
Check out the title sequence of the show. See the grid being destroyed? Like the matrix grid he wants destroyed? See the sinister half seen GREEN thing?

I must also add that I am a fan of icke(even though I was banned from his forum years ago) and experience as much coincidence as he does on a daily basis -but don't believe them as a true message. My coincidences try to convince me of all manner of grandiose and contradictory things. But something IS going on and I do believe the elite mean us harm. Anyone who acts out a fake human sacrifice under a giant stone owl is not babysitter material.
I'm not one for Icke's theories (or many others, either) and I think he and quite a few of them have over-immersed in many a t.v. show and film. Disassociative behaviours? Maybe.
As for the "elite" - to my mind, these are merely other people who have (and have been allowed to) gained access to the trough and are gorging themselves. They would be easily blocked and discarded if only people would stand up and tell them No More.
Their biggest strength or power is, perhaps.... Human apathy.
I think it's all much simpler than these over-blown theories claim.

It's possible Icke has been caught up in someone elses dream, so to speak. Someone who saw SAPPHIRE AND STEEL and V, and isn't quite normal. Icke is a tool of this person's subconscious desire for these things to be true.
So MANY options, how can we spread a truth when we don't even know what we are talking about?
It occured to me, last night, that it doesn't matter if the reptiles are true or not: they are there to open our minds, by being impossible to believe in! We are being charged with the test of SIMPLY BEING ABLE TO BELIEVE IN ANYTHING, because that is the truth: ANYTHING WE DREAM UP BECOMES THE TRUTH/REALITY.
The elite may know this and have shaped us with that truth.
Yet another option of what may be the truth.

Great posts but alas I am too tired now to reflect properly, so will have another look tomorrow. And yes, totally see the parrallels between the tv show and the theories that Icke talks about - I think very often tv shows are just fact presented as fiction. I mean, why should they bother thinking up sci-fi from scratch when there are so many concealed plots in real life to draw inspiration from?

You'll notice that the boxes the transient beings use(shape shifters from the triassic period) are travel chess sets. So you have the masonic checkered floor emblem.
Reptilian shapeshifters using masonic devices to get at agents trying to help the world.
