Today many know and accept the fact, that millions of others may have to suffer for their own well being, here-in lies the problem, as long as we continue to allow others to do this in our name, nothing will ever change soon..
I like Pilger a lot, but he is forever on the fence, in many ways knows what he is doing is having no effect, he would be better exposing the possablities that may occur, instead of acting after the fact, that said all we truthers are Pilgers, yet many do not act in ways as to help ourselves even, this is wilful blindness, I know it will eventually dialectic upon the whole.
Those who think that I am talking bunk, take a look at your shoes, possibly made in childrens eyes, this is simply not good enough, and one day it may be our own children making those shoes.
Sorry, a bit late here.
Damn good post and I don't think you can be accused of talking bunk, far from it.
I know what you mean about Pilger and fence sitting. I think him, and a few of the other journos, still try to be seen as keeping their own opinions out of their reporting. Probably some old 'code' or something.
Sadly, the likes of him and Robert Fisk won't be here forever and most overseas correspondents these days never seem to stray outside their hotel lobbies.
