Caught Jimmy's show on a rewind, hilarious however he was mocked & mocked himself sooo well it was sickening.

So he dodged tax? He should feel lucky enough & (money)safe enough to just pay his way. He didn't, same as most who earn a decent amount & speak to a well paid accuntant who has a few tricks up their sleeves.

Typical stuff, if they earn enough from the masses they think they can play the system to the max. Either move away for 9 months or leave altogether. If they have to stay in the UK to keep earning then then move their accounts to a haven.

Carr's tax is chump change compared to some.

Lord Ashcroft, the multimillionaire deputy chairman of the Conservative party, today confirmed for the first time that he is a "non-dom" and does not pay tax on his earnings abroad in the UK.

His confirmation puts to rest a decade of speculation about his tax status and raises serious questions for the Conservative party, which has been part of cross-party moves to ban non-doms from parliament.

The guy is pro establishment yet he can't swallow his own bullshit and pay his way. It'd be different if he did what he did and use it to make a stand, in that case I'd be supporting him despite me not finding him funny at all.

I hold the seemingly unpopular view that if there's a legal loophole there to be taken advantage of, I don't blame someone like Carr for taking advantage of it.

The loophole would surely have been closed off if it weren't being utilised by those with money who are in the know - like politicians.
