My predictions are that traffic will be totally fucked up. There will be a fucking great short fall in the budget which we will be adding to the national debt. The Olympic tax that was added to the London council tax will remain in place and also be increased. Team GB will win hardly any medals. Most of the world will not learn that the vast majority of people here never wanted this bollocks in the first place, or that it was imposed on us by our tyrannical fascist state because it's part of some BS prophesy, that a bunch of inbred morons are trying to manifest. Loads of fucking idiots will turn out waving flags and cheering even though the country is being systematically dismantled. The corporate sponsors (leeches) will all manage to make a profit even though the whole thing was a dead loss for the rest of humanity. G4S will provide useless security and still continue to receive state contracts.

Back to the old questionable salute thing, I don't know but I see this morning that this chap could in fact be Walter Troeger, the head of the German National Olympic Committee and not Joachim Gauck. I've had a look at some photo's of both and I just don't know tbh. Neither of them appear to have any issues with their right arms though so it'd seem fair to see that wub was right and it was just an old man doing a rather embarrassing wave.

I watched it out of curiosity :hmm:

Most Interesting Part: A VERY bored Queen Betty looking down and fidgeting with her fingernails as team GB walked in :killinme:

Most Entertaining Part: The song 'Heroes' by David Bowie playing as team GB walked in. It's a brilliant track

I'm actually very disappointed that there was no big 'false flag' happenings at all, such as a fake alien invasion etc etc that some people went on and on about. Not even one sniff of a hologram of a big spaceship from the moon full of reptillians come to make us all crap ourselves. Maybe it's being saved for the closing ceremony
Overall it was just as yawn-worthy as I predicted, a MAJOR non-event, just like December 21st will be later this year :coffee:
Total pish and a waste of my Friday evening :nite:

After watching it last night the message i took from it is the west needs the rest of the world to know how much hard labor was done by the British & Irish to achieve what is perceived as exceptionalism. Then the next underlying theme would be how it all transforms into a new world of multiculturalism with technology.

I tried not to let my "conspiracy mind" get out of control at parts so I just took it all for show.

I found it intriguing and would watch it again.

That's some good thinking RealAmerican.I would have liked to have seen some of the people dressed as workers from Victorian times fall ill coughing and spluttering in a danceable way ;).Didn't the show go straight to the part about the NHS which i thought could have been a sly dig at conditions. :hahano:

Im going to wait for some hardcore conspiracy people to explain the NHS part to me. I could tell they wanted to touch peoples emotions right from the start because I felt a certain way all through the ceremony.

There wasn't a single free hospital bed out of the whole lot of them - strains on the health service due to kids not going out to work for living like they did in the old days. I think it was Arbeit Macht Frei somecunts used to say.

Can someone tell me if im brainwashed because i just don't see anything sinister about the olympics.

I think it's good for the humans on earth to see all the healthy athletic people.

Yea the military presence sucks and i hate to see the bitter face looking Queen.

I guess the DIF made me paranoid because I see the games as a positive thing.

For the people of the UK that are angry about how much money the games cost don't be.

Low income people in the UK should be angry they have a Royal family not the Olympics.

I can see where you're coming from, it is worth pointing out that the opening ceremony very heavily featured the Queen in particular.

Actually most low-income people in the UK are more likely to be pissed off about the Olympics than the Royal family, ironically. I'm not sure how the Saxe-Coburg-Gothas have achieved this, but they've got some bloody good PR people working for them.

I think it's not so much the waste of money, because Britain is broke anyway, it's more the "let's celebrate everything about Britain" stuff, when the country is in a sorry state, and will be after the games are over. At best, it is being used as a PR distraction by an establishment that's bleeding people dry. And there is some pretty bad poverty in London, by British standards, so this is a double kick in the teeth, really.

Having said that, sport is in my blood, so I will end up watching loads of it and will probably really enjoy it!
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.
