Wiki references the study that makes the claim sketts - and goes on to say that these women were of middle eastern origin - it is also suggested that the other 60% can be traced back to 150 women also likely to be of middle eastern descent - though there is still some debate ongoing.

The sad thing I took from hadas link is that history is indeed doomed to repeat itself - in times of financial hardship we humans seem all too quick to turn on our fellow humans who we do not identify as being 'us' - ridiculous really and fueled by pathetic bigots seeking only to gain power for themselves not to really help anyone else.

But it's also dragged out alot of personal views on how some think the way things should be... that's how I read it.
