Any conversation I've seen about them on other forums always consists one party claiming they're an 'obvious' fake, and insulting all & sundry. and the other view-holders claiming they're UFO pods having a reccy before returning to the mother ship.

I'm not sure whether they're either of the above, or something else entirely, but they're quite lovely to watch (shiny things, you know ).

Me too. I thought I was witnessing some strange phenomenon in the clouds near my house one night, and got proper excited, so that I could only squeak for my husband to come and look. He was impressed too - there was this green thing, swooping about, really fast & changing direction.

But then a big cloud moved, and we could see it was the result of some kind of laser beam being projected up from the ground. I don't know what it was in aid of.

Lol... I can picture that, although I'd probably be screaming at the top of my lungs for my mother to get her backside outside with my son to see, then for them to land and take me with them

I'm in the 'fake or not, it was cool to watch' camp as well.

If it's real then those shiny things looked alive. Almost like young animals horsing around together.

Doing a thorough search (i.e. scanning page 1 of Google for a sec.) it seems there have been quite a lot of sightings reported in that area since around 2007.

I had no idea this was such a common thing...
