Recipe for disaster basically, you can add to that the crap in the food, the air and the water, the declining health, lack of exercise, obesity, immigration from many countries putting pressure on people to hold on to jobs desperately and for lower wages, along with the declining numbers in eastern eu states just adding to their fertility problems.

All this was planned and all of this is the result we see today and there you have your depopulation right under everyones noses without them even realising it.

Impressive tbh...in a sick way.

When you say all this is planned you imply that every addiction, drugs, alcohol, food (obesity) is pre planned.

Where is the human responsibility to avoid addiction...

idk...

Corn syrup, MSG's, food additives, GM foods...

Before this stuff arrived we still had obesity but at nothing like current levels, its pretty obvious whats caused it is not just simply 'eating more' but specifically eating more crap.

If it was planned, then we shouldn't worry about extinction...unless it's an accidental extinction, if they got their maths wrong or something.

By 2040, the people might have prevailed and overthrown the psychos :hahano:

Also the words "predicted" and "if"...need I say more? :chuckle:

Yes there are quite a few if's , however the roll of the dice is not in humanity's favour here tbh.

I wouldn't feel pressured to have kids btw lol, however perhaps we ought to be giving families more of a break.
Perhaps we ought to be encouraging it instead of discouraging it.

Thats the social conditioning imho.

What I want to know is, who the hell is eating all that shit?...wait a sec, most of us are :D what I mean is, how much of that shit are people stuffing their faces with. I walk around my city, and tbh I don't see many obese people. I'm slim, so is my bro, so is my sis, and her fiance...most people I know aren't anywhere near obese.

I bought a jar of mincemeat today because it was cheap, and i was in the supermarket getting milk, (i haven't got a girlfriend and want to grow breasts) the christmas stuff, most the ingredients in it are fructose this, inverted that, glucosemucose syrup, corn rape oil, palm oil, glycerin, what the fuck, I thought mincemeat was meant to be just sugar and fucking fruit peel and spices, there's not even any fucking mince in it.

Anyway on depopulation, it's quite relevant for me because I decided to never repopulate the earth about 6years ago, my mission is going well so far, i just felt a bit spiritually sick and ill at the thought of having to get a job, get a house, get a mortgage, get a car, sunday roasts with teh family, teaching a child about the mad as fuck reality it lives in, all that shite.

Why do kids grow up never knowing the truth?

"Hi son welcome to a crazy planet where there's plenty for everyone but most of us starve, I thought it would be a really good idea to bring you into this world to see what a fucking mess we've made of it, you'll probably get addicted to drugs and die in a violent horrible way, after never really living or defining what your idea of living is, I would say one day you'll understand son, but to be honest we've had the best scientists working on it for a while all I can give you is hope, that one day the world will be prosperous and abundant, and you'll have the opportunity to shine your genetic and financial overlordz's shoes in a megacity 4 miles high".

There's almost a completely perfect correlation between the Western, industrialised production diet and rising levels of obesity. Every country that has changed their food production to this model has experienced a massive obesity epidemic. Even in countries that we associate with healthy living and good food like Spain:

www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2010/10/...ic-enemy-number-one/
SPAIN has the third highest level of child obesity in the world.

The issue has become Spain’s “public enermy number one,” according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), who commissioned the report.

Over the last 30 years, obesity has spread to “epidemic” proportions, despite billions of euros being spent to remedy it, found the report.
And Italy:
Italy is famed for its healthy Mediterranean diet, but alarming new figures show that it has a higher proportion of overweight children than anywhere in Europe.

While the rest of the world is encouraged to copy the traditional Italian menu by swapping junk food for fruit and vegetables, it seems Italians are forgetting the lessons they taught everyone else.

Traditional home-made meals and snacks are losing out to low-cost, calorie-packed fast food. Coupled with less physical activity, the results are evident with ever more "ciccioni" – fat children – on every street corner.
And an active, outdoors lifestyle, like Australia.

www.modi.monash.edu.au/obesity-facts-fig...besity-in-australia/
Australia is today ranked as one of the fattest nations in the developed world. The prevalence of obesity in Australia has more than doubled in the past 20 years.
Out of everything I've ever researched, I don't think I've ever seen a stronger correlation between two variables than the change of diet to this industrialised production, fast food heavy, full of additives model, and obesity. And you'll see quoted time and time again that this upward obesity curve begins 20-30 years ago in all cases.

Then I think the answer wub, is that we should learn to cook :hahano:

It's a massive stitch up, and we just seem to be taking it. I look on food packets and there's a giant ingredients list, it's crazy.

I don't know if you've heard of Michael Pollan, but he's a food critic and author. He stated that if anything you buy in a shop has more than four ingredients don't buy it. I can't say that I quite stick to that rule, but I try to bear it in mind.

You're absolutely right about the cooking of things with raw ingredients, and this is what is missing in our culture. It's no coincidence that you have less fat people in Asian cultures. It's not just due to lack of food, obviously that can play a part, it's because they cook things from scratch with raw ingredients.

The earliest life on earth goes back to around 2,100,000,000 years, homo sapiens have been around roughly 200,000 years.

Scientists have estimated that over the course of Earth's history, anywhere between 1 and 4 billion species have existed on this planet.Be it through disease, genetic obsolescence, over-predation or any number of other factors, the overwhelming majority of these species are now extinct.

Do you really think humans will be the ones to beat maths, nature and the universe

This doesn't mean humans should turn to selfish ways but realise how special and fragile life is.

They are so far the only species capable of changing their environment to suit themselves and capable of leaving the planet.
Natures experiment I guess, it'd be good if humans do figure it all out and make the best of things, it helps not to be pessimistic about it for starters though

Yes they use these things to bulk up food, they are cheap for food manufacturers among other things.

I would say plenty of corn syrup put in foods is GM modified, and palm oil isnt even something humans should be consuming.

As andy and wub have said, there is increased obesity... and when the body ingests what it deems to be toxins, it begins to cope by storing it as fat...and when we keep eating these things the fat doesnt drop off.

All true. I look at the ingredients list of some of the ready make cakes for example in supermarkets...and its like WTF! Ridiculous.

I know junk food is tempting especially in stressful times, but reading the packet of some of these things reminds me of a chemistry experiment.

This has completely ruined my life because I've got a really sweet tooth and absolutely everything in the cake department has got high fructose corn syrup in it. I just realised the other week that I'll probably never eat a jam doughnut ever again because they're always made with the shitty jam that that's got HFCS in.mikey mikey wrote:

Even if you make the effort to eat healthily, and have the time & finances to do it, it's not so easy.

I don't know if it wa accurate, but according to something I saw (don't recall if I read it somewhere or it was on TV) you'd have to eat something like 40 tomatoes to gain the same nutritional value as 1 would have provided a few decades ago.

Things like jam, and cakes are really easy to make though WUBS. (I don't need to say the basic ingredients need to be unmolested by GM & pesticides).

I've certainly heard that vegetables and fruit are minimal in nutritional value compared to what they used to be. Perhaps tomatoes are particularly bad because the way they're ripened is totally unnatural.

You're right, maybe I should learn how to bake some cakes, I might make that my New Year's Resolution. Eat more cakes; that's the kind of resolution that's worth sticking to.
