My chum went to a stag party with a difference.

The groom - now my chums bro in law - is a session musician so his friends decided to use some studio time to make a jokey song to be shown at the wedding.
A very accomplished group of musicians and a rather amusing video. The guy doing the very impressive Arnie impersonation and playing bass is the groom to be and my chum Sy (bad tash and yellow t-shirt) can be seen playing a bit of drums and keyboard.

My daughter is getting married in Tennessee in February 2013.

They are doing the whole (deliberately). tacky wedding chapel thing while on holiday doing a tour of historical music sites.
Her guy is an ace guitarist and she's, well . . . . . . . . . . . . . my daughter.
She was just telling me earlier that ...

Our rings arrived about 5 mins ago, we got the co-ordinates engraved on them (latitude on one, longitude on the other); 36.148687,-86.79221 If you type them into Google maps it takes you right to the chapel building. Cheesey, but a wee bit cool

If I was ever to get married again the idea of an Elvis wedding is very appealing. The drive-thru weddings look pretty fun as well.

Both layouts are both fine and true.

I did of course advise both my children that imo marriage was generally a very bad idea

So one is now getting married in Feb 2013 and the other in April 2013.

Ah well, some things you just need to experience yourself eh? :D

Next year I plan on telling them that giving their father 30% of their income as a thank you for his patience is a fucking terrible idea.
