Truthfully?
If I were an undecided American on the gun issue.
I would watch Jones' performance there and think "Wait, this incoherent fucking lunatic, babbling on about redcoats and wanting to climb into a ring with Morgan, legally owns guns!?" "Fuck that!"

So in other words, if you really, really, really wanted to damage the gun advocates case, could you do much better than putting Jones on prime time with few interruptions to his rants?

Jones grabbed the chance to plug infowars on "grown-up tv" and thought he was pulling a stunt.
Nope, he was played for the chump he is for both Morgan's ratings and his profile building in the US.

btw, Morgan is only gobbing off about the gun thing because it is a 100% guaranteed attention getter stateside.
He couldn't give a shit otherwise.

I've not read the brit press reports yet but as we know Morgan isn't held in high esteem by journalists here but he said little the whole time, so there's nothing much to attack or defend on his part.

Jones did what they knew he would, babbled shit, flare his nostrils and eyes and make Morgan seem like a reasonable journalist.

All went according to plan.
