Sad news indeed. For those who are not aware of Dr Feelgood, where have you been??

Possibly the greatest pub-rock band there has ever been (Dumpy's run them close).

Below is the whole Down By The Jetty album. If you don't have the time to listen to it all then a quick listen to the opening track will give you an idea of just how fantastic this band were.

Great band and a great album
I saw Feelgood live about 8 times, and Wilko after he had left the band 3 times

Dull news eh.

I never once made the connection that the executioner in Game of Thrones was ole' Wilko.



He's the one who beheaded Sean Bean, don't let Mandy know though, she'll kick off.

Sadly, I never had the chance.

Great touring band, constantly on the road since the 70s and only stopped for a bit when Lee Brilleaux died.

Back in the day my Dad had a couple of their albums and the one track I totally adored was....



Playing it now, very loudly. I hope my neighbours are fans.
