I love these series SO HARD.

Never seen it, but my daughter was trying to explain the plot line the other day - sounded bizarre.

It is pretty bizarre Gilly, but sucks you in. The first series was about a haunted house. The second was an asylum. Both great stories anyway.

@ Rick - Pepper's makeup is pretty amazing, eh? I wasn't sure if she actually suffered from the condition to begin with but she has some quite serious dialogue later in the story, so they had to use an actress that was capable of that and make her up.

In any event, today I am very, very sad. :(

I just found out that the writing team responsible for these little gems also had a hand in 'Glee'. What the f*ckin f*ck!?!?!

Just goes to show, great talent like this can be used for evil as well as good.

:chuckle: The talent's like a scalpel - in the hands of a surgeon (your horror thingy) can have magnificent results.Wielded by a maniac (Glee :O ) can wreak untold mayhem & misery.

Used to be quite common but not sure about these days. I think it was called microcephalis.

I didn't know that. If you're hot you're hot regardless of age. :)

I thought King Kong was taller than that?

I'm learning a lot today!

Even though I have heard mention of Gangnam Style I have never heard the song. I'm pretty proud of that as well. :)

Just ordered a Shirley Ellis CD. Had to wade through millions of Mp 'downloads' for 98p though.

Ofc, I would have preferred to buy it from a shop but we won't go there...

Me, too! I think I even like this season better than 1.

I thought Pepper was a for real pinhead! Special effects dept deserves an award. Jessica Lange is amazing! Love Lily Rabe...just a great cast all around. And I have to give props to the writers for taking so many strange plot devices and making them work in one story.

Like the first series, I loved the attention to detail re history. Things like that which aren't done properly really piss me off and ruin the whole 'suspension of disbelief' thing for me. It's just a basic of good story-telling, imo.

For example, silly things like the light fittings changed at Briarcliffe when it got taken over by the state. I notice stuff like that. :emb:
