Like the first series, I loved the attention to detail re history. Things like that which aren't done properly really piss me off and ruin the whole 'suspension of disbelief' thing for me. It's just a basic of good story-telling, imo.

For example, silly things like the light fittings changed at Briarcliffe when it got taken over by the state. I notice stuff like that. :emb:

Oh, good one! I didn't notice that!

There was a scene with Sister Eunice where she casts a shadow that has horns. I'm with you on the details(the ones I notice), it really makes a show extra special. That's one of the reasons I love Fringe.

Season 3 clues are in the Name Game scene; lots of speculation that it will be witchcraft or voodoo. They can take any horror stereotype and make it unique so I can't wait for whatever it is! Jessica Lange will be back and Lily Rabe, too! I hope Frances Conroy returns! Loved her in Season one as well as her Angel of Death in two. I need to watch season one again...so good.

I heard it will be set in the present, but hopefully there will be lots of flash-back stuff as they do that really well.

They got Frances' look just right in both series. Love it.

Just been looking at some pics of her actually. Do you know what has happened with her eye?

It's going to be in the present? Hmmm...interesting. Some people were pointing out clues that it may be Voodoo but then there was mention of a song in the Jukebox called Congress so maybe DC. I could dig a Rosemary's Baby kinda thing with Satanic Washington Elite. Rosemary's Baby goes to Washington. :P

Also, though New Orleans would be a nice setting- Savannah would be cool and has the whole "Hoodoo" vibe.

I was curious about that, too.

Do you watch Fringe? John Noble has a weird reflective glint in one eye. I can't figure it out.

Nah, I've never gotten into that.

She looks fairly normal about ten years ago but then something fairly drastic must have happened.

I don't know why I'm so interested in the poor woman's eye. Do you think I'm a bit obsessive? :D

Haha! No, not obsessive! :P It is curious! Adds character. I think she's a lovely woman. I used to always be curious about David Bowie's eyes and one day I heard about some school yard fight or something.

Damn...I think I'll google Francis Conroy's eye!

The actress who portrays the older version of Moira, Frances Conroy, actually has a discolored iris, she is not wearing contact lenses. She was in a car accident and then had eye surgery. Frances mentioned her eye problem in the casting sessions and the writers decided to make this a plot point so that she would not have to wear contact lenses. That is why Constance shooting Moira in the eye was written in. [1]

Wow, kinda cool that it was written into the show! Sad that she was in an accident but, hey, she rocks the look!

Yeah, I liked them, too. He did a really good job as Tate as far as making you love/hate him...I mean, he was a psychopath so a little harder to feel empathy for him. Still, I did feel for him.

Really love Kit's character! Poor guy never did anything wrong and got royally fucked over again & again. Love how his story wrapped up, though...thought it was kewl. :scotty: Left me wondering why he was "chosen".

I'm glad both seasons had such satisfying endings. I hate it when a great show fucks up the ending(Twin Peaks  ).

Still waiting for the appropriate moment to use it elsewhere...that's the problem with Abs posts..... :kisskiss:

Did it make you feel all sexy and wrong at the same time?

I was trying to get the gif to work as an avatar but presume I can't. I'm too old and stupid to work it out if I can anyway... :oldfart:

Sorry ladies, it was there last night. Not sure what's happening?

I can see it now, let me know if you still can't.

EDIT: Copied above from another website and when you click the image it comes up a bit fuzzy, so you can't even really see his chuffin pins. Ho-hum...you'll just have to believe me when I tell you that they are mighty fine.
