It aint the best film (chaplin does nowt for me) but its strong anti nazi message was clear.

Indeed 'pop' is just short for 'popular' and is therefore genre-less.... in theory at least.

The mechanisms of the music biz however seem to make music popular that otherwise wouldn't be, if it wasn't rammed down people's throats by endless repetition.
