Despite the faults of his writing, I still rate this as some of the best horror (old school) ever written.

Think it was The Call of Ctulhu that I read on your recommendation.... good stuff. It's a strange writing style & it is pretty creepy at times.

Don't think I've ever done an audio book so I might give it a go.

There is a very good PC game based on Lovecraft's work called Dark Corners of the Earth.

It is very atmospheric but I have to say it ran better on my old XP machine than on Windows 7.

The lite.quickstart version of the game is a free pdf but you will need gaming (polyhedral) dice.

My friends and I tried to play that, and I think I actually had original copies of the game guides. It didn't work out for us because we were all pretty much wasters and I sold the guides on Northampton market.

I also had nearly everything regarding MERP. Did you play that?

Just got The One Ring by a British company and it is just beautiful.

Do love MERP and Rolemaster but I tend to use Savage Worlds RPG now

Here's the freebie lite version of that.

It is probably the best RPG system out IMHO

But I change my mind a lot.
