Well, it was only a matter of time wasn't it? Once they perfect the technology I can see Beatles concerts and everything :chuckle:

Movies...the actors in your living room :O

Concerts from beyond the grave sort of thing :O

I recall a few years ago that entertainers concerned about their 'image' being used in digital media in the future were taking actions/precautions in a legal sense to protect themselves.

In anticipation of increasing technology. Looks like they were correct in anticipating things like this.

I suppose its the next step up from having 'song rights' and so on...image rights.

'face and body' rights. :hahano:

No but their family can :yup:

I think 2-pacs mother had something to do with approving the hologram performance.

No doubt some renumerations would be involved.

MJ ...probably too soon :hahano:

But give it a few years no doubt.

And the tech will only get better. :O

Thats one thing the actors i saw were concerned about...them becoming obsolete :hahano:

Is it just me or has Tupac suddenly grown by a foot or so since being resurrected? :hmm:

I've seen videos of this tech used a few years ago in Japan. The technology is impressive, but not personally surprising for me. The strangest part is the fact that it's Tupac. The way some of the people reacted to it was almost on level with religious reverence. It was kind of creepy.

This technology has a boatload of useful applications, but I see it being primarily used for entertainment and advertising. How much longer until we have dead musicians advertising a music festival on public streets?
Form is merely a momentary manifestation of being, not a fixed reality.

To all progressive endeavors great or small, come unforeseen benefits on a scale larger than most give pause or contemplation of.

I don't think it is you, he did look taller. Maybe it was just projected incorrectly? It could have also been intentional. Humans have this thing with associating height with social status. It's strange.

Some folks on YT also mentioned the height difference as well as noticing his feet 'slide' a bit here and there; at one point his shoes appeared semi transparent.

CNN used holographic technology during their 2008 presidential campaign coverage:

"If you see your face is dirty in the mirror, do you wash the mirror?"

Call me sceptical but I believe this is EXACTLY the reaction 'they' where looking for.

If this is how people responded to someone on the level that Tupac is, imagine the possibilities for chaos if a mass amount of people thought they saw a religious diety of some shape or form?

Yeah, do think you are probably right. That reaction likely was the goal. Ah, yeah the bluebeam theme involving large scale projections of religious prophets. That would be disturbing. How many would fall for that now?

Someone will be eager to make a huge prophet profit with it.
