I've just whacked this on my system so can't give any real feedback as yet but thought it would be of interest anyway.

Dont want to be the turd in the punchbowl....but anything connected formerly or not to the washington post is not built on freedom and privacy, and it is still a google product too at the end of the day, it just seems to be a way for someone else to gain access to big data profits more surreptitiously under the banner of privacy....

they know people want a more "secure" browser from the current options... but its just another post-snowden hoodwink as i see it....all browsers and internet use is the same so just choose what you want and know you are never getting privacy.

It may do some things that give privacy from others poking around but imo i do believe they [graham holdings corporation] will still be gathering data for profiling, just not admitting it....Katherine Graham was a regular at the bilderberg meetings for decades, her son Donald who also attends bilderberg is current owner of graham holdings and of course are investors in epic browser via hidden reflex,

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_E._Graham

www.epicbrowser.com/about_us.html

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assets_own...hington_Post_Company

jeff bezos [amazon] who bought the washington post [washington post company became graham holdings afterwards] also attended bilderberg last year, when big data was one of the main topics on the agenda.... www.presstv.com/detail/2013/06/09/307912...rgers-talk-big-data/

So despite its claims, i would not expect too much from this, how many times have we heard before that "they" wont do anything and it ends up happening.....whenever they claim anything like freedom, it is oppression and privacy means intrusion in every way.

I like the look of it on face value but it is a exercise in futility to expect what it claims....i certainly would not ever believe any of the privacy claims and it makes no difference what you use they are data harvesting as they desperately have to for fear of losing control.....

Sorry to be the lone turd floating in the privacy punchbowl but im just bringing a point of view for you all to consider too..... :)

There's not much people can do about it tbh.

The only secure browser I know is Lynx and I doubt anyone besides me would want to use it, lol :D

The point being that the more secure the browser is, the less features it has, until you are literally left with either a text html parser like lynx or the ultimate one which you can never connect to the internet :D
