Regarding the amount of electricity used to create Bitcoin.

As the price of Bitcoin goes up in value does the amount of electricity used to create a Bitcoin change or does this stay at the same level?

It stays the same. The process to mine one Bitcoin is always the same, regardless of the value. Although I think the point is nearing now where the maximum number of Bitcoins that are supposed to be in circulation will be reached.
