If they didn't spend as much time, money and effort in political campaigns and in competing against each other, then it might be true that things would get better.

Anyway... I'd like to clarify that when I said "politics" I wasn't referring to governments, parties or politicians; I was referring to politics (i.e. history, ideologies, proposals, actions, etc.)

I'd rather burn out my own eyeballs than vote in this system. Never will.

I used to vote, but never once did I vote for the one who won, so I gave up. After that, I figured that it didn't really matter anyway because they all seem to be batting for the same team.

I've never voted.

Registering to vote meant you would be input into the jury duty system.

Being called for jury duty means you earned $10/day (Or, you can opt for a vacation day (if your company permits, and give them the ten bucks plus corroborating documentation).

But I was wrong! So many people opted out of voter registration for the same reason as I that the State of Florida opted to call upon driver license numbers.

No worries, I was never called as the state and county population was always too great.

Still, there are many who say non-voters have no right of opinion as they do not vote.

I do not vote because I do not care.

I do not care because the electoral college makes me not care.

In small town Texas I've been called for jury duty TWICE in less than five years.....WTF?!

Not happy, not happy at all.
