It's nice to see you present a case for someone Runlike, but I'd be surprised if Sod actually cared whether he was accepted here or not. I wasn't around when he was playing up here, but from what I've seen on other forums, he doesn't appear to have much respect for people. I'm not completely writing him off though - he's got some fine personal qualities, being clever and original & whatnot, but racism's unforgivable in my book.

I moved the thread to community chest since its about the site and a community decision.

Speaking for myself i agree with gilly in that sod has some good qualities...but im not sure if he can turn off that side of him that likes to throw out racial comments...so its up to the members as to whether or not they want to see words like chink, darky and so on thrown their way (who knows where it will end up if he is given a free run)

this is why he was banned...well he did call DG a cunt also but i think DG can handle that now and then , it wasnt the issue tbh...it was about the other things he said, and how he said it towards other members.

If the community says yes, then it's up to SOD!!! to knock on the front door and if he does the ban will be lifted.

Otherwise its not a valid poll is it? Its like asking the regulars of a pub whether someone who was banned from there for unacceptable/unsociable behaviour if that person should be allowed back inside or not... BEFORE that person has actually shown any remorse for the behaviour that got them banned from the premises in the first place.

Ok, I'm bowing out. I had a discussion earlier in fast chat about this, the outcome being that I was told this poll would be the community vote. I agreed with sod to email him about it and did. That's what brought us to here.

For the record sod didn't ask me or anyone else in blast today to speak up for him or anything like it. I chose to do so off my own back.

Like I said, I'm bowing out now cos frankly it's pissing me off now.

Don't really know the Sod prior to here. Has he always wanted to be the centre of attention and acted like a cock in order to achieve this or is it a special performance just for us?

I have read this persons rubbish in this forum and I do not agree that he should be given any form of a chance at all. Where is the humour in this person's posts and what I do is basically use the Ignore function to deal with him.
