I don't believe we're giving any particular individuals attention by discussing the issue, tbh.

One of the principles of the place way back when was that we would discuss matters such as this before any action was taken, which we have done.

It's all very civilised but admittedly, not to everyone's liking.

It's undeniably crap that posters such as MP haven't been given what has become summat of a traditional welcome. I put my hands up and apologised earlier in the thread as did others. That doesn't change the fact that MP walked straight into a stasiesque spotlight.

Why did it happen though? None of us here would like it or wish to do it.
It happened because of a string of sock trolls. What I have come to think of as Twats.
We all know that. We were all just waiting for the next Twat reincarnation. MP has genuinely pointed out the dangers of getting put into that mindset by Twats.

But why do the Twats want to come here? Why does DG keep showing up and owning us all? Why does : have the SZ logo pinned to his dartboard? Think about it for a bit.

I contend that it's because this place is actually special. It always has been, despite the ebbs and flows of fortune, mood and Twat.

So let's try and remember that folks. This place is more than a collection of folk chattin on the web. It may be small but this little forum has so much to offer. There are good heads and hearts here. The place itself was given a good head and heart. Ironically by one of it's laterday detractors...

So hang in there folks and let's get back to welcoming new folk with open arms. Let's also keep stamping out Twats as and when they creep out of the internet sewers. No pasaran.
