Non-posters
a) Leave them be, they're just shy and/or nosey.
b) Bin them after a set time if they have not posted.
c) Bin them if they don't post on their first visit

Ok, so I can mass email all non-posting members to inform them of the new policy. Now we need to establish the actual time limit.

I don't see it being a pressing matter now as such as I don't think even the ones who are already signed up can post without facilitators approving their first post, but it does need a time limit setting or we'll be doing the same poll yet again somewhere down the line when we have collected a new set of non-posters.

I have just emailed all (I think!) current non-active members with the following message.
As a result of a community poll regarding non-active members forum policy now requires that you keep your account active by making a post in the next 7 days, after this date your account will be deleted from our database.

If a non poster makes a post, then how long would it be before they would again be classed as a non poster?
Or is one post enough to be known as a poster.
Basically 'hi'. Would that be ok then nothing thereafter ?

If a non poster decides to make one post, 'hi' Would that be sufficient to change their status as a non poster to a poster forever, or will there be a time period of not posting that would mean their status is reverted back to non poster?
This is where my bottom line would be if it existed.
