Ok, so we've had one or two heated debates going on around certain matters which seemed to have calmed down now as everyone has had their say etc but still nothing conclusive has come of it all. I propose we rectify this so we don't (hopefully) have to repeat all the exchanges in the future as and when the situation(s) arises. So it's time for some polls! I hope they pretty much cover all view points and hope as many members as possible will use their vote as the results will hopefully go toward drafting a new SZ 'charter' or whatever we decide to call it! And of course none of this will be set in stone and is always reviewable if needs be.

But that's getting ahead of ourselves...

There are 3 polls; Socks, New Members & Non-posters. None of them are 2 horse races so the potential for a not-clear cut winner (66% exists). If this is the case in any instance I suggest the poll is reset with only the contentious votes remaining.

The threads attached to the polls are locked for comment so as to keep any subsequent discussion on the 3 topics to this thread as some of the issues cross over so it will be helpful if any points raised are in one place.

All results will be counted at 5p.m.(UK time) Tuesday 4th March.

When I first signed up to SZv.1 I was mainly in chat, and managed to have 0 posts on the forum, and my account was deleted... so I had to re-register, luckily I could do so with the same email, and username, and even my uploaded media was still there... so... dunno...

Oi have you any idea how many members are posting on at least a weekly basis? Is there a way of monitoring this, it's just that the polls that I've noticed have about 20 odd votes.

A dozen people arguing about polls in the forum, being moderated by 4/5 people, who need to create polls to deal with each issue, which in turn creates an issue requiring a poll.

Tbh it's doing my head in a bit. I didn't like it when posters were having a go at marina and scaltura, idk what's happened to SilvaRizla he appears to have stopped posting, most of the newer posters here don't know about all the SZ history and it's not their fault if the post something wrong, it just seems that everyone is squabbling and looking for the worst in other posters posts, it's nothing to do with trolls or socks or non posters, new posters, it's to do with self defence and mistrust, I don't see how the polls are going to solve that.

There's nothing to stop peeps signing up now and messing the polls up oioioi - or lurker socks doing the same.
I don't have any suggestions - As closing the doors for a while is one of the options to be voted on.
