An online voucher that uses a photograph of Madeleine McCann to sell discounted holidays has been branded an "utter disgrace".

Kate and Gerry McCann's spokesman Clarence Mitchell told Sky News the picture, featured on the website VoucherDigg , should be removed immediately.
The holiday snap of Madeleine aged three, was taken hours before the youngster disappeared from a Portuguese apartment in 2007.
But it is now being used to advertise "£20 off: Great discount on holiday bookings".
When users click on it they are taken to a page featuring deals from lowcostholidays.com.
The advert promotes breaks in a self-catering family apartment in Albufeira, Algarve - not far from the Praia da Luz resort where Madeleine vanished five years ago.

Why would they advertise their resort with a missing childs picture? How (someone PLEASE tell me) would that bring IN trade rather than drive it away? Am I missing something?

Totally agree. I wouldn't put it past them in the slightest to get the voucher out in the first place (first piece of publicity) and then get Mitchell to complain about it afterwards (second piece of publicity). There's no doubt in my mind that these two are a pair of fame whores regardless of what's happened to their daughter.

I'll never understand why those two weren't immediately charged with child endangerment for leaving 3 kids unattended.

Can there be a better illustration of how endangered they were than one being missing when they returned? :mad:

I can't even contemplate leaving that little girl alone with her two siblings who were even younger than her. It's complete insanity. FFS I wouldn't have left them alone, I don't have to be the parent of those kids to do that.
