Malala Yousafzai is discharged from Birmingham hospital
MALALA Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl shot in the head by the Taliban, has been discharged as an inpatient from a Birmingham hospital.
The 15-year-old was being treated at the city's Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEHB) after being transferred following the assassination attempt in October.
Malala's family, who have a temporary home in the West Midlands, will now care for the teenager at home before she is readmitted to hospital later this month for reconstructive surgery.
It has been revealed that for the last two weeks, Malala has been allowed home to visit her family - father Ziauddin, mother Toorpekai and two younger brothers, Khushal and Atul - with her progress being monitored by her medical team

I can imagine a few people on a forum site not a million miles away from here that will be demanding it. ;)

Now she's out of hospital I'm sure she'll be off to collect her free Mercedes, 10 bed mansion and 5 grand a month off the social. :roll:

Malala Yousafzai attends first day at Edgbaston High School in Birmingham

Pakistani schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban after campaigning for girls' rights to education, has attended her first day at school in the UK.

The 15-year-old was shot on a school bus in Pakistan in October.
She has now recovered following treatment at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
She described starting at the city's Edgbaston High School for Girls as "the most important day" of her life.
