Mom Gives Kids Homemade Lunch, School Forces Them to Eat Ritz Crackers



A mom who thought she was properly parenting by sending her two young kids to school with a homemade, whole-food lunch was shocked to find a penalty note from school officials informing her that the lunch of roast beef, potatoes, carrots, oranges and milk she provided was "unbalanced" and therefore had to be supplemented with Ritz crackers.

She was also fined $10.

Can you believe this shit! Just who the fuck do they think they are!

Parents in that neck of the woods should also start fining the school $10 every time they assign the kids pointless things to do, set them homework on stuff they've not taught about (hence leaving the teaching to parents & the internet), make ridiculous rules and prove with their written communications (reports & so on) that they're incapable of grasping the basics of the English language.

And here's a worse tale of woe, which is infuriating to even watch...

Arrested for trying to pick up our kids. The school thinks they can keep them as long as they want after the bell. And even if you have an appointment, you will get them when they say so.

Absolutely fucking disgusting - they think they own the kids and have authority to dictate unreasonable rules over parents.

I literally cannot believe the way schools treat children and parents nowadays. It is beyond belief. You'd think they owned the children and that they just lent them to the parents for a couple of hours a day.

I'd have thought that addressing the issue of poverty would be a better option.

I realise I'm a genius and all that, but I don't think I needed three years of preparation to learn the alphabet or how to calculate 2 + 2. I'm pretty sure I was okay to go in cold to that environment.

they are saying poor people are scum and the effects of being poor are so bad your kid has to go into a group therapy session so they dont turn into a chav.
