Abs, you've posted a few links from pinknews, what is the chatter about this tide of institutional bigotry that's going on at the moment?

Well, I can say this of the PN, being a gayer and all, but it is a bit stereotypically 'hysterical' at times, but I think that is just passion about what their trying to report quite honestly. Tbf though, a lot of the stuff I've linked today has also been covered by msm.

The links today were actually quite paired down as I think they've been told off in the past for going overboard.

There are some different schools of thought about it, like religion, cultural differences. Usual stuff. I'd like to say it is simply a case of us hearing more about it and it being more acceptable as mainstream news, but I fear not.

There is definitely some kind of backlash occuring out there, worldwide from the looks. I didn't link the equal rights to marry palava in Oz either, but that was quite a biggy, really. As to what's actually behind it...who can say?

Bit of divide and conquer never does any harm in times of strife though, eh?

I think it was Andy who pointed out earlier as well that it is, in fact, all just a little bit of history repeating itself. Hopefully, not page for page this time though.
