Wann bet?

Maybe not.... This thread is kind of

.... I'll be honest; i never thought that the bannings were much more than a kneejerk reaction to posters "defecting" to this site, or people who just got fed up, took things too seriously, and flew in the face of the mods/admin to just push the envelope and got banned as a result. in other words, legitimate within the vagaries of the forum guidelines.
I suspected that certain mods were all for the Nazi style posts and posters, but was also willing to accept that I was maybe just being paranoid. I wasn't being paranoid.... and that's too bad. The way some of you were tossed is really not cool. You were
right. Too bad, and it's their loss. Whether they realize it or not.
There is a definite right wing extremist crowd attracted to Icke for some of the most bizarre reasons...including believing that Icke's bias against reptilians is 'racist' somehow..... (don't ask lol)
It's not at all bizarre IMO. A lot of the stuff he draws on comes from American right wing - in some cases extreme right wing - material. People might not like it, but a lot of popular conspiracy notions originally came from that direction. That doesn't mean Icke is like that, certainly not the majority of his supporters and he daws off lots of other stuff too. But a lot of his stuff is recognisable to people from that tradition.
In Canada, a man named Ernst Zundel was jailed and deported from Canada to his native Germany for distributing literature and taking the stance that the Holocaust did not happen. He was a professor, he had no previous criminal record, he was held in solitary confinement prior to being deported, and he was a Canadian
citizen. The most damning presented evidence against him? He received some of the literature for his research from an Aryan group in the US.
A lot of info like that is tied to sources like the above.
He's never been a professor, he's an overt Nazi, he wanted to ban
schindler's list and he started out writing about Nazi UFOs in Antarctica. I'm sorry, but the guy is a Nazi crackpot.
And he plays on the free speech angle, but only because he's the one under fire. If the boot were on the other foot, all that hand wringing would quickly evaporate.
