Wow, after a couple days away I come back to start a thread about the economy now that all that DI shit has blown over......

No wonder TPV is falling down around them, spending all their time logging into their dozens of accounts on DIF

I have to say that I was quite taken aback by just how unfied the thinking has become over there, it's always been a bit that way but the debate used to be way more robust. There's always been the die-hards that won't have a word said against him but surely anyone with a scrap of sense would have to admit that his high profile at TPV is going to repel more support than it attracts!

I felt compelled to post on here, first time, re 'poultongate' and was accused of 'probably being Gareth' !
Apart from being a genuine supporter ( and regular donor ) I have no connection with TPV ..OK ? !
I come to this forum as a result of discovering TPV which is IMHO a great idea and something I hope will continue to evolve, as I said originally, it's not perfect but it's the best thing we've got right now.
Personally my interest is the political side of things rather than anything else, as frankly if that doesn't get sorted, somehow, soon.. the rest becomes entirely fucking academic !

Hi Grenadine, agree with you :) I can't believe whoever is 'co-ordinating' this sock puppet display of adoration coupled with the huge amount of deletions & bans thinks this looks genuine from the outside - it surely doesn't!
Even infrequent posters / readers of the forum must now see through that TPV subforum & realise it's all a crock of shit :conf:
It must be desperation that's pushed them to it.
Since I first donated to TPV right at the start of the 1st campaign I've probably had 2/3 updates from them via the indigogo site (& never received the advertsied perk either but hey ho I'll get over it :cool: )
- Now, FOUR emails in two days. The business plan obviously reads 'fundraise for money, ask for more money, pester for more money, guilt trip for more money, beg for more money, demand more MONEY!!!'

Yeah it is way over the top. I really have to pause it if I watch tpv when the adds come on. Today there was a shocking section where Richie Allen seemed to think it was acceptable stopping parents taking their kids on holiday during term time. We did this in my family every year in primary school and hearing about this parents being taken to court and threatened with prison is just disturbing. It makes we want to get the fuck out of this country asap. Its not a laughing matter at all Richie.

Hello. I came across this forum while I was looking for news on Sonia poulton few days ago. I can't believe how many banned members are on here. I remember many of you. Andyh from cork, oioioi, with the dog avatar and Wake up bomb who reminds me of Bison, from the street fighter film with that avatar. :chuckle: Wake up bomb isn't banned though. I was sent an invitation to the zone on DIF end of last year but didn't take it up. I know some of your like Lauren almighty were recently banned and some of you raised some valid points. I thought Lauren was quite reasonable but don't think she should of been banned. Well all have our views and have to be tolerant really.

This is another name I have and not the name used on the other forum. I had noticed that is has changed a bit over there after all that went on.
