The way i remember events was that people were getting rather manipulative and vindictive simply because they were not getting their way.
That doesn't sound like anyone here. There were full-on, real, legitimate beefs had by many (if not all) here that were not being addressed with the attention they required/deserved. This went on for a very long time.

I have no reason to believe Sean acts in this manner as he has 'never' acted this way towards me.
You are one. We are many.

But seriously, do you honestly think that 30 - 40 grown-ass adults would band together to act a fool
on the internet and end up with something as solid and forward-expanding as this forum? Because I don't. It would never happen! Your experience is your own, just like our experiences are our own. We have a different tale to tell than you, unfortunately.

Also you all speak badly of the DIF and the owners
Incorrect. We spoke/speak badly of a very questionable Admin team and a considerable population of disruptive agitators. There IS a difference!!

yet you happily accepted eachothers friendships which you would not have had if it were not for the DIF.
Most people here never had a problem with "the David Icke Forum". It was what was allowed to happen in his name (on his forum) that we had the problem with! Some people would call that subverting an online community. To allow the kind of ridiculous nonsense that was and probably still continues to go on over there unchecked. (It's
rumored to have been curtailed a bit as of late). Couple that with an Admin team hosting a shakey record and it's a made-for-TV movie of the week!! So the friendships made there were hard won and not something we tend to take lightly.

Also was the real reasons many of you got banned not for an accumulation of minor infractions?
In my just over 3 years of membership there, I received a one time issue of 5 points that expired immediately. That's IT!! Nothing else was EVER placed against my account. No permanent points. No "On Warnings". Nothing! Yet I was Banned for what I think was asking a fellow forum member for their email address. I never boasted publicly about "recruiting" traf, I mean members on the old Sanctum Forum and I'm pretty sure that I've never done that here. So how is it, if they do not read PM's, that I came to be Banned if not by circumstantial "evidence" such as my merely being a member here? I'd love to know!!

afterall i see a number of threads on this forum that start off in all seriousness and within 5 posts it gets diverted to the ridiculous the way threads on the DIF used to go.
We have no problem with lighthearted banter and off-topic comic relief. We do however not put up with serious offences like racism, trolling, spamming and general abuse to members of this community whether they be Admin, moderator or regular member. All for one and one for all here!!
