OK, I'm not through the last couple pages here yet but I see that people HAVE in fact received this in their own personal emails as well as it being sent out via on-forum PM. I just wanted to clear that up, I'm still not firmly within the loop yet, lol.... :emb:

OK DIF team, it's all out in the open now. You have started a conversation. So I think I can say this for the majority of us.

Our issue with the DIF is clear. It is run in a way that lets bigots continually preach from a place of hate and seems to thrive on it. For anyone who is genuinely interested in Mr Icke's work that signs up, there is a big shock waiting. The overwhelming tone of the site is far from the message of infinite love!

Many many of us did and do our very best to be that message. Both in our lives and online.

We had and do have serious concerns that the DIF is in contradiction to the work of Mr Icke. Intolerance, disrespect, hate, bigotry, I don't remember ever seeing mr Icke encourage those things. And yet the DIF is a hot bed of those things. Throughout the place.

Over there you have moderation avenues that are ostensibly designed to deal with that. You are also legally obliged to deal with it as you know.

So, many of us used those channels as you know. We attempted to raise our concerns with yourselves and got nowhere. Your responses seem to be modelled on the Arcylus principle of "I see no racism here". I for one can testify that I got nowhere using those channels.

The response to growing concern has been to ban those that raised their voices and then ban anyone that felt the same way and chose to join up here. This we find unacceptably poor.

We also find it unnaceptable that you have been going through people's PRIVATE messages as a part of your 'campaign'. Big brother? There is a history of this kind of invasion of privacy at the DIF and you seem to have learnt nothing from the first flare up. In fact you just changed the rules to allow it. Similarly you have changed the rules this time with regards to other forums. It seems ok for people to be on Stormfront and organize incursions to the DIF but it is not ok for us to be elsewhere chatting about our concerns over this. Crazy stuff!

We are not out to discredit mr Icke, despite you trying to convince DIF members that we are. We are out to form a predominantly online community that mirrors mr Ickes views. Something we always hoped the DIF would be. We would rather like the DIF to be what it purports to be also, a place for the coming together and "awakening" of the spirit of humanity.

It's noted that you have now gone on a clean up campaign, moving all the "Jew" threads, "Nazi" threads and similarly hateful crap to the nether regions. It's also noted you have now banned a couple of the regularly offensive 'contributors'. Stable doors and horses does spring to mind.

The reaction of the DIF to us has been ridiculous. There are currently 50 odd of us against your claimed 60,000. Although I note that the banned and inactive still count in that total ;)

Why do you feel so threatened if you are coming from a place of infinite love?

One of many questions that jump out.......

Stick it here psket. The mods at the DIF and everyone else, needs to see what the admin are up to by invading people's privacy in this way.

The more that post their proof the better.

They got wise to their error quick though didn't they. Stopped giving the newly banneds a reason pretty soon into the current purge of the concerned!

Mmmmmmmmmm

Yep! That's how it happened to me. "No reason specified" was what I got, in fact, let me post that here:

Badgeofhonor

And this was only put upon me roughly 20-ish or so minutes AFTER requesting a fellow forum members email address, by PRIVATE MESSAGE! No mention of other websites, forums or anything remotely close to anti-Ickean sentiments. In fact, it was a real short one-liner to the effect of:

"Hey, do you have an email address that I could contact you at? If so, give me a shout here: *my email address* .... Thanks!!"

Now I don't know about you guys, but that doesn't look like a ban-worthy offense to me, especially for an over three-year member never once placed "On Warning" and only ever given a one-time reprimand of 5 points that expired immediately. Yeeeeep.

I just received this in my inbox over 'there':

" To all members: invitations to other forums/websites

Have you been sent a PM inviting you to join another forum or website?

If so please be aware that a small handful of other forums/websites out there have been set-up by individuals with a personal axe to grind, who are out to harm and disrupt this forum by recruiting members on here in order to promote an anti David Icke Forum/David Icke agenda.

If you receive any correspondence from another member inviting you to a place you feel is at odds with this forum please feel free to report it to one of the moderators or admin team on this forum. You can do so by clicking on the red triangle with exclamation mark in the middle (located at the bottom left of the PM) or by simply forwarding the PM to one of the team.

Over the years we've had numerous anti David Icke Forum/David Icke websites spring up and unfortunately a tiny minority of our members get fooled into joining them. Many lies are usually spread about this place and about David in order for the recruitment drive to be successful and as a consequence people get banned in the process.

The reason people were/are banned here is for linking to sites that are predominantly set up to promote an anti David Icke Forum/David Icke agenda and bad mouth site staff or David; And [arrogantly] using this sites resources to promote it!

This is something we simply do not tolerate. Any owners or members of other forums/websites caught doing so will find their accounts banned without warning.

If you would like to discuss this off the forum via email feel free to email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Please note: This PM has been sent to all members."

I find it strange that I received this after adding a contact who happens to be on this site as well!

Agreed phem

Speaking for myself there appears to still be some confusion as to why this has all kicked off from certain quarters - To clear that up it is everything said above by dub.

We appreciate that being a moderator sometimes means making tough calls over what is and what is not violating forum rules - There are over 50 people here who are in agreement that the forum was allowed to become a hotbed of racism, antisemitsm, homophobia, sexism and other hate motivated ideologies that went far beyond banter to the unacceptable - users were allowed to harass, bully and intimidate others with impunity. We tried to tell the team at dif both in the open and in private that it was unacceptable - in many cases over a prolonged period of months if not years - We appreciate that things take time but the failure to act in any sort of timely manner left those of us with good intentions and who cared about the forum with no recourse other then to go elsewhere - a place where we could vent and go 'public'.

Running parallel are concerns with the way the site is run in other areas - our hands were tied by the wall of silence methods employed as to complaints - what else were we supposed to do? put up and shut up? or follow our values and convictions?

Everything you and dubs have said in those posts is definiately true and bang on the money... but I personally fail to see how ANY of the mods over there haven't, or didn't, see these things for themselves.

They where there. They have eyes and ears. And they where involved in all aspects of the forum.

It's impossible, in my opinion for them not to know.

I undertsand that some would prefer to take the stance of not rocking any boats... but just how much rocking can a boat take before it tips?
For them to be aware and do or say nothing, makes them the same as the ones pulling the strings. Maybe not quite as bad, but bad enough.

The only other explanation is that they have raised concerns with the string pullers, only to be shot down and put back in their place so to speak. But again, they're adults and should be able to make an informed decision based on what's right and wrong and to all intent and purpose, they have chosen to put their blinkers on and get on with it.

Either way is wrong no matter how you look at it.

I hear you sketti - I believe that people did see what we did and it was a concern but to date I have no real knowledge of that was tying their hands so to speak - I try and see the best in people and give benefit of the doubt - I guess part of me who likes certain people just cannot mesh the two things together without an aneurism occuring....

Its here and out in the open now - done what we can, made our case and the evidence is there if people wish to open their eyes to it.

You're right girl... it is indeed hard to see the wrong in someone when you like them and I understand that totally. I also think though that if that same person values you the same way you do them, then they should also return these values. Time will tell on that one I guess, though I'd like to be wrong in this particular case as likeable is definaitely a major factor and a redeeming quality

The fact that you see good in people is a beautiful trait by the way and not something to be knocked... it's not that pleasant being on the other side of that fence believe me - I often wish I wasn't so sceptical of everything :emb:
