I also know the rateable value of the premises I rent for my workshop....this determines how much corporation tax the local council will 'skim' from my turnover each quarter...

My suggestion so far has been to stop, and reconsider the form in which DI wishes
TPV to take...perhaps go for a form that doesn't require an OFCOM licence.

DIF mods are in full on censorship mode. They are not only banning and inactivating members, they are doing so within SECONDS. The post I copied above was deleted almost immediately after it was posted.

Sean also deleted posts back in may from forum members warning them that they needed to check into ofcom before proceeding. Arrogant pricks tried to ignore these constructive posts, only to find that they were right all along.

Now, TPV has to subject itself to state regulation OR may not even get to air at all. Quite an enormous waste of funds from "the people." Oh well, they got to run a few ads for david's books and lectures to the conspiracy sheeple, and were able to force a few gareth performances down their throats.

You can see an extremely long document about a program that PSTV made about alternative cancer therapies. I don't know what the status of PSTV is, but this gives some indication that if you're going to broadcast live then you're going to need OFCOM approval, or you'll get closed down very quickly. You really need to be aware of this before you set up a TV station.

This was a major miscalculation for David Icke. The most likely scenario is that ofcom first grants the license (they want their 5K pounds, that's for sure), and then goes over all content with a fine toothed comb. Fines will surely follow, advert revenue will likely be negligible, and David will have to pound his forum members hard for even more donations. He'll have to scrounge for donated equipment as well.

His followers will eventually get sick of his endless appeals and will soon be tapped out, since most DIF members are low to average income.

They already know they are in trouble, as forum members are suggesting outlandish 'solutions' such as outsourcing to south american servers.

This is a train wreck unfolding before our very eyes.

Just sayin.

What ever they do they have a weak link in Sean as he knows fuck all about the primary deleivery method, the internet, so no matter how snazzy the sstudio is if you dont know how to encode and distribute a live stream you will have a piss poor product as seen in their test.

The more vocal critics obviously have been banned and/or made inactive on DIF, but even the hardcore sheeple who follow david as a living god are starting to understand how onerous the licensing restriction really is.

David's kowtowed once by applying, and he's kowtowing even more saying it's essential that TPV bring on 'guests' who disagree with him, stating that that is what is free speech is all about. This is completely against what david initially promised, which was an uncensored voice for TPV.

Doesn't it speak volumes regarding the rest of the mans 'research' when you consider that this former TV presenter didn't study setting up a tv company enough to realise it would need to be licensed.

The application would also have to pass the "fit and proper" controller test.
I imagine you would have to open your affairs, processes and practices to intense scrutiny in order to satisfy that caveat.
Fit and proper is also such a vague term it could be used in a million different ways if someone wanted to scupper their plans.
Whoever is advising on this thing needs their bollocks in a vice.

Regardless of whose idea it was, it was tremendously ill-conceived. There was no logical path from david's books, lectures and occasional interviews to serving as a tv media mogul. If anything it's the anti-thesis of everything he supposedly stands for. TV is the principal instrument of mind control in the world today, using visual images to hypnotize audiences into inactivity. In this regard, the medium IS the message.

David has said on countless occasions that the reason he left tv was because it was scripted mind control for the masses. He's reiterated this point endlessly since then.

To do a complete 180 at this point is unspeakably daft and hypocritical, yet his sheep seem all too willing to walk off a cliff right along with him.

If it isn't clear by now, this fiasco shows why david has so many who hate him. It is because of his uncontrollable arrogance which I have said before borders on megalomania. His delusions of grandeur are being exposed all too clearly now, perhaps with greater clarity than ever.
