Well, this is just a lie. They wouldn't have to pay taxes or business rates until at least 2015. Obviously if they haven't made a profit then they wouldn't have to pay them at all. The only tax they might have paid is VAT, which we all pay, but they can claim that back.

Welcome BTW Alice, and regarding your post on the DIF, it's not there any more.

Business rates may well have been payable as iirc are based on the value rate of the business premises and as it's a big space I imagine it would have been a few ££££s p/a but it's not 'upfront' I don't think, so, like many people pay council tax, it should surely be a monhtly expense TPV should have budgeted for?

Re. VAT it's about £72k threshold turnover this year - are donations 'turnover'? If not no VAT to pay. Perhaps a charity could have avoided this? (Why are they not a charity? :conf: )

Either way you're spot on, there wouldn't have been 'extortionate' amounts they had to apy out, as you say, 1st tax bill not due to be paid til 2015, nd even then, if they're pissing up using all income as expenses surely that equates to £0 tax payable on £0 profits....

I don't agree with business rates or council tax, but surely this should be budgeted for in rent? Obviously it's going to be a fraction of the rent itself. This would be like me saying my business isn't viable because I have to pay council tax.
Re. VAT it's about £72k threshold turnover this year - are donations 'turnover'? If not no VAT to pay. Perhaps a charity could have avoided this? (Why are they not a charity? :conf: )
I think there are strict rules about what charities can or cannot do. In terms of paying VAT, they will have paid some of this, but we all do every day when we buy goods. If you're a business you can claim it back.
Either way you're spot on, there wouldn't have been 'extortionate' amounts they had to apy out, as you say, 1st tax bill not due to be paid til 2015, nd even then, if they're pissing up using all income as expenses surely that equates to £0 tax payable on £0 profits....
They definitely do not have to pay any Income Tax until 2015, and obviously any percentage of zero profit is zero.

I think if all income goes back into the business then the business can be classed as a charity and gets tax breaks of a high degree.
But I think they need to be registered as a 'charitable organization'.

I don't think TPV has that status does it?
BTW I'm quite sure that an employment business law states that a company must hold in a bank account enough wages to pay it's staff for 6 months in case it gets into financial problems, then that money can be released to pay staff and give the business a chance to recover, I heard that this is a requirement of law for business in the UK,.
Can anyone shed light on this, perhaps I'm misinformed?
This is where my bottom line would be if it existed.

It was allegedly on his facebook page - it was his response to Sonia it was posted on DIF where I copied it from. Richie has made his FB private so I can't link.

They will be paying council tax - I was quite shocked how much that is working at the last place in an accounts role and I'm up north - percentage of a the saleable value I think it is. There is a quite a bit on line re rent values in Wembley Point to make the £1200 a mockery.

Thanks wake up - kind a thought it would not last - but I know it got through to the people who mattered :)

Spin...spin... twist... swerve... spin... go the contradicketions as they mimic the gire and gimbol (sp?) of the politico.

I prefer big ass corporations tbh. They do at least have the balls to stand up and say, "yeah, by your standards we are cunts but hey, what the fuck are you gonna do about it?" You have to give a grudging respect to that.

These slimey, slithery little MaxwellDoch wannabees are like kids that have just been caught with their hand in mum's purse.

"But...but...I didn't do it mum, I saw a shagnasty dive in there and based on research I did at UFOsheep.com I know that means fucking trouble :O My first thought was to call you but you were in bed with Mr Brand and not paying me enough attention to hear me, even if I had called. So cos I knew the shagnasty would fractional reserve the shit out of the 40 pence in your purse and use the yielded $200 billion dollars to totally enslave the entire bathroom, I dived in to drag the fucker out. It bit me.... Look. *flashes hand in mum's face for a nanosecond*. Actually mum, I'm fucking disgusted with you for suggesting I'd nick your 40p to spend on sweets. You're a clinically insane stupid fucking mong who deserves their trip to the gas chamber."

And the SZ and all the other good platforms for free and open discussion, are mum's rolling pin.

if you go to www.thepeoplesvoice.tv/our-sponsors/ the last banner for 'paid sponsors' is f &c

was the sponsorship paid for before or after they fucked you over?

@Thor...I can't seem to find any sponsors on 'the voice must get louder'?????
:jane:

PS...haha...you silly bint Jane.....they haven't got any!....right?
Why don't we have advertisers sponsoring TPV now?

We've only been on air for 4 weeks and have put all our resources into making the content we promised we would delver. It takes time to build up momentum, gain a following and attract sponsors and advertisers. It costs a lot of money to run a 24/7 television station, even as humble as ours, so we need your support to keep us on air for these vital next few months. But thats not enough. The People's Voice must get louder. With your support we can expand our reach to a wider audience.

the link is to the tpv website and a list of those who gave £1k during the first campaign then underneath it companies who have paid to 'sponsor' tpv - F&C's inclusion on the list made me wonder if it was made before or after they did the dirty on him - before makes the doing the dirty worse - after is confuddling.

my mistake its paid advertisers underneath of which f &c are named as being one.
