Poor oi nearly got burnt out by wildfires last week, and now earthquakes to boot.

Perhaps he should consider moving back to Manchester for an altogether safer, boring and more depressing life :D

Nope.

Only ever felt a quake here once and that was way down south (although not as southernly as Crete) in Kalamata, historically not a great place for an earthquake!

When it comes to oioioi's safety, I am more concerned with the antics of the Hellenic Police and Golden Dawn mobs.

oioioi: may you and yours be safe and happy and healthy. :yup:

I'm even blonder and bluer eyed here. Puts them in an even more contradictory stance.

Makes life easier for me.

@ ahoy oi! I understood that you live on mainland Greece and pretty much way up north and wouldn't have felt it. HOWEVER....this little rumble is a bit worrying as to its connection to Santorini which is on a heightened quake watch and magma movement.

Not at all DG...it is quite interesting how EQ's suddenly seem to crop up in countries who do not comply with TPTB! Seriously....look at Iran and Syria....mhmmmm....

Anyways, maybe time to move this to Earth matters now.

Oh, btw....Although Indonesia and Philipines are probably the most active eq and volcano areas in the world....keep an eye...it's ramping up down there.....remember what I said about the first sign being........

Hehe...you should have come to our meet up jhado.... :)
Seriously though to answer to your question....a volcano erupting....a certain kind of volcano....but don't worry as soon as I see 'that' volcano going off I'll put the heads up here as it will start a chain reaction.....
