A new set of regulations that most people have never even heard of that was developed by an immensely powerful central banking organization that most people do not even know exists is going to have a dramatic effect on the global financial system over the next several years. The new set of regulations is known as "Basel III", and it was developed by the Bank for International Settlements. The Bank for International Settlements has been called "the central bank for central banks", and it is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. 58 major central banks (including the Federal Reserve) belong to the Bank for International Settlements, and the decisions made in Basel often have more of an impact on the direction of the global economy than anything the president of the United States or the U.S. Congress are doing. All you have to do is to look back at the last financial crisis to see an example of this. Basel II and Basel 2.5 played a major role in precipitating the subprime mortgage meltdown. Now a new set of regulations known as "Basel III" are being rolled out. The implementation of these new regulations is beginning this year, and they will be completely phased in by 2019. These new regulations dramatically increase capital requirements and significantly restrict the use of leverage. Those certainly sound like good goals, the problem is that the entire global financial system is based on credit at this point, and these new regulations are going to substantially reduce the flow of credit. The only way that the giant debt bubble that we are all living in can continue to persist is if it continues to expand. By restricting the flow of credit, these new regulations threaten to burst the debt bubble and bring down the entire global economy.

Not that the current global financial system is sustainable by any means. Anyone with half a brain can see that the global financial system is a pyramid scheme that is destined to collapse. But Basel III may cause it to collapse faster than it might otherwise have.

You can hear a brief explanation of the Bank for International Settlements System here, starting at about 1 hour 18 in:

And here in more depth:

I couldn't agree more, in fact, that's exactly how I would word it, indeed this is basically what started happening back in 2008.

Turn the tap on- boom.
Turn the tap off - bust.

I can't see us getting out of this mess without an incredibly violent uprising globally and with this knowledge born in mind, otherwise it'll be just another revolution.
As things stand there's little we can do IMHO , if you tell anyone of these simple verifiable facts you're a conspiracy nutter

This is why I see the current happenings in Frankfurt as really important, and to a much lesser extent the behaviour of groups like the EDL, because these people need to decide whose side they're on, as they're definitely going to get fucked over too. Even if you know what's coming and make some sort of preparation for it, the situation is still going to get very difficult, and I guarantee that 99.9% of the police have made no preparation whatsoever. Are they going to continue to attack protesters and defend the criminal establishment? How bad does it have to get before they stop guarding the ECB?

You would think that to create a system of virtually total enslavement you'd need to do it in private and disguise your motives. In fact, you can do it publicly, it can all be 100% documented, with all of the physical documents available in the public domain, and people will still defend the people that are instigating in when they're told to, and attack the few members of the general public that care.

Thanks Wub a great topic, isn't this all micro managed and will go down when they want it to? Or is just one big cluster fuck? I was always of the opinion that's its the way the elite bankers want it to be and they will pull the plug when they want a full on digital global system.

My view is that it's pre-determined, it's been planned for a long time, but I think the confusing thing is that the nature of the economic system is such that there are a lot of big, powerful players who actually don't want it to go down at the moment. There are a lot of vested interests right now that are desperately trying to keep the dollar going, for example. You could say the same thing about the Eurozone.

But then at the same time, there are those that do realise that the current system is untenable who are just bleeding it dry before it inevitably collapses. That's why you're seeing so much obvious corruption at the moment because they just don't care any more. And I'm sure political figures are often manipulated, and easily manipulated, as they know naff all about economics anyway. You can basically tell them anything, and they will believe you if it gets them off the hook for a while.

But the BIS was planned to be the centre of this globalised economic system, and that is the Death Star. Whatever happens, whatever currencies go down, whatever happens economically, the private shareholders at the centre of that - who also own the central banks that the BIS 'oversees' - will never lose out.

www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfina...lders-are-suing.html

Its difficult to find followup on this...basically it looks like way back in 2001 the central banks involved wanted to buy out the private shareholders of the BIS, leaving solely the CB crowd in charge.

I missed this and no doubt many others did too, I don't recall any mention of this, but here you can see these guys playing their hand a long time ago people. This is yet more proof they have had this planned for a long long time.

Thanks for this link, I hadn't seen that before.

Just in case people don't know, the BIS is 86 percent owned by central banks and 14 percent owned by private shareholders, according to the Federal Reserve:

www.newyorkfed.org/aboutthefed/fedpoint/fed22.html
Currently, 86 percent of the shares of the BIS are registered in the names of central banks, and 14 percent are held by private shareholders.
Who oversees the central banks? The BIS. Who owns the BIS? The central banks. You don't need to be Einstein to see a potential conflict of interests...

"Between 1933 and 1945, the board of directors of The Bank for International Settlements included Walter Funk, a prominent Nazi official; and Emil Puhl, who were both convicted at the Nuremberg trials after World War II, as well as Hermann Schmitz, the director of IG Farben; and Baron von Schroeder, the owner of the J.H.Stein Bank, the bank that held the deposits of the Gestapo. There were allegations that The Bank for International Settlements had helped the Germans loot assets from occupied countries during World War II."

Interesting stuff. Just to point out, IG Farben mentioned here, were involved in the gas used in concentration camps, and were involved in the grandfather of George Bush's Nazi links:
