I think that's just the way the room is set up currently some of the time. I feel like that sometimes too, but I have to remind myself that the foyer, which is the main room, sometimes has people just sat there, while they are off doing other stuff around the forum.

There are also other 'rooms' that you can be logged into simultaneously too. So it could be that all those logged into the foyer (which is the only room that visitors and non-members can actually log into and see) are in other rooms carrying on conversations.

You can also talk 'privately' to other people that are logged in, so again, it can sometimes feel like nobody is talking or that you're being ignored.

You are most welcome here, as is everyone but I'm sorry you felt a bit ignored. Shout about it a bit next time, and I'm sure you'll rouse some responses from folk that are just occupied elsewhere.

Did you try the new 123chat? You could also try the mobile view which should be leaner and quicker.

You would probably need to invite someone to test the 123chat with you, as most people will be using the original system as a matter of course. Hopefully later in the week we will start a proper evaluation of the 123chat system, before we settle on the long term solution.
