HALMSTAD, Sweden -- A Swedish woman who squeezed her boyfriend's penis in a scorching-hot hair straightener was cleared of assault because he dared her to do it.

The 31-year-old male only had himself to blame after pulling out his sex organ in a drunken stupor and urging his girlfriend to "straighten" it, a court ruled.

The eye-watering episode happened as the female defendant was at home straightening her hair in January 2011, news website The Local reported.

She told cops her partner whipped out his genitals and waved them in the air while chanting, "Do it, do it, do it."

Eventually she grew tired of his antics and accepted his challenge, clamping the scalding hot irons around his manhood, leaving him in pain for three weeks, the court in Halmstad, western Sweden, heard.

But while the woman was cleared of wrongdoing, her boyfriend was convicted of assault for headbutting his girlfriend later on that same evening, The Local said, citing local media.
