A two-year-old has shown early signs he could be a master criminal of the future after being recorded expertly picking the lock of his sister’s room and stealing her toys.

The eight-year-old daughter of Joann Moser had said her brother was bypassing her lock and taking her toys.

But her mum was ‘sceptical’ and found it difficult to believe the toddler was capable of such a complex task.

‘Our eight-year-old daughter came to us one night and told us our two-year-old was taking stuff at night out of her room,’ she told Huffington Post in an email.

Joann decided to set up a camera so she could see what was happening once they had put the kids to bed.

‘We were very skeptical so we set up the camera in the hall to see what would happen,’ she added.

‘Sure enough within a few seconds of closing his door and locking hers he was at the door opening the lock.
