In all seriousness, in the UK it's probably about cost.

The producers will have set all their machines up to make pink plasters a long time ago due to the fact that most people living here were a pinky/white colour up until around 30 years ago.

Lets be logical:
Pure white plasters will be distinctive on any and all skin colours in the world. If one wants to be secretive about their paper cut and has to hide that from the rest of the world for......whatever reason; surely there will be underground plaster suppliers who can cater to their needs. The black(Multi-Ethic) market will surely provide for that.
Blue plasters: Used for injuries sustained during the food processing process makes sense because blue is a very rare naturally occuring colour and stands out from the food being processed.
Red Plasters: Used for injuries sustained during the industrial raw meat preparation and processing phase. A red plaster is distinctively different from the product being handled.

However, a Red plaster discovered in my Chilli Con Carne - mit vegtebules und herben is going to set off warning bells in my food safety paradigm.
