Are there floods, closed roads and such going on,impending ice age, what you think about this,or is it just a rainy summer season that has happened before?

If the news guy says its 'global warming' again I swear I'm gonna put a shotgun barrel in his stupid inane grinning f*cking face :/

It's just a rainy summer. I've been through them before.

It hasn't flooded here yet. We've been flooded about 4 or 5 times in the past. The street becomes a river and kids float along in dingies It's full of stinking sewage as well

I worked it and was still taking people home after midnight who had finished work at 5pm, the entire place came to a standstill. most roads were flooded and blocked, and there were families playing in the 'lakes' of water, which were indeed full of sewerage which stank. one mouthful of it and they would have been hospitalized. they chemtrail the fuck out of us, every morning (which is normally beautiful at 5 am which then turns into a shitty grey sheet sky by afternoon). this time of year, decades ago, would have been awesome weatherwise, but now we normally get hail stones. so it wasn't particularly out of place as these floods have happened here before, but you should have seen it come down, massive drops of rain which were strangely warm. it only lasted an hour or so and brought the place to a standstill. it had completely cleared by the following morning. we nearly had a repeat on friday night, but it petered oot. the lightening we had recently has been very odd, i can't help imaginining a huge fuck off UFO above the clouds just out of sight.

Well this rain has most definitely not been my friend - went out yesterday morning to pick up some pain meds for mr thoreau only to be stranded without a phone, money or a rain jacket in my local town flooding and fallen trees prevented transport from being able to get in and out of the town and I have never been colder - what with my rain soaked attire and the icy fog/winds.

Long story short the mothership bailed me out by booking me into a hotel for the night - the bill for the room alone cost more then I earn in a fortnight and £4.75 for a beverage!!! Took me about 3 baths and snuggling down under 4 blankets just to warm up again - I was literally blue - I got the last available room - Stuck with neither internet access, my trusty crochet or a book I was left with the tv (which was dire and a timely reminder of why I do not have one) and a bible.

Got home at 8.45 this morning - and am never leaving here again!

This weather has been seriously messing with me. Work that relies on good weather has had to be delayed, even the homestead is suffering. Then there are a couple of big projects I've got going on here for fiat gain that are reliant on dry weather for me to get on with them. It's not at desperate levels but things need to change soon so I can get on with this stuff.

Ms dub is 100% convinced that the onset of the Olympics will prompt the aiming of tech at the Jet stream......

That's the first week of the kids summer holidays in up here (Scotland) and it's pissed with rain the whole time apart from a brief spell on sun on Friday.

Another six weeks of this and I'll likely have cracked up.

It's really starting to bring me down...I've even started a thread about it.

I know people say its just cos I'm old or because I like conspiracies, but something about it just isn't right. I definitely think someone, somewhere is tinkering with shit they didn't ought to.

No floods here yet but I am getting mighty pissed off at never being able to actually see the sky.
