Looks like my damp house is down to rain water coming through roof and down cavity walls. The person who had the house befor me must of got cowboys to do the roof,they had not put the right membranes under tyles so water has just been leaking . Just need to save up now £3700 for a new roof then my house will not look just like an old squat.

Hey Nirvana, this isn't the new place you moved into is it?
Still I hope it's quieter than the flats?
The mean­ings that are the most directly prac­ti­cal are the ones that are sac­ri­ficed: the fla­vor, aroma and touch are abol­ished to the profit of the delu­sions that per­ma­nently lead sight and hear­ing astray.

Yes its better than the flats but alot of hidden problems hence why i got it so cheap. Proboly going to take me next 2 years to do the place up. :barfonu:

Nothing quite like a project, especially in that particular sense, when you can experience the product of your labour directly all around you and enjoy it's use :yup:
