How many of us would really give up everything to follow truth and share everything they have? I know I would’nt do this. It would be a new age mug game. Very much pointless and leading to a dead end.
The bigger truth is that the only thing that helps us is the networks we establish for ourselves.
One of my old mates who is a very high ranking 9th dan ninjitsu master told me a story years ago while i was in his class.
He said life is all about networks and establishing networks. He told me he had a mates who were builder„plumber, chartered accountant, police officer, solicitor, structural engineer, etc. He said with the right kind of net works life runs very smoothly. He also mentioned there is no ultimate truth only a subjective peace and understanding that we gain from meditation and establishing the right sort of net works. I lost touch with this mate a few years ago.
He mentioned with out his net works if his plumbing went he would have the stress of finding a plumber if he bought a house he would have to pay for a structural engineer and if his mate was not a clever accountant he be alot more skint
I mentioned this story a while back on icke forum.
A few years ago me and my girlfriend got a council house .We were skint we had a 2 month old baby .
The house was unfurnished and filthy we had hardly any money for baby milk food etc. We slept on the wooden floor and it was freezing .
I had a mate who used to go shoplifting for baby clothes ‚milk etc for us.
We spoke to social services who told us sorry there is no help for us no safety net anymore. It was then that I realised the stupidity of a mass waking movement because at the end of the day even thoe i thought i was part of a mass movement i realised deep down we are all on our own ‚and the only thing that is real is the networks we establish for ourselves.
These networks can be religion, politics, various social groups that meet up for fellowship etc.
The main thing is to find your tribe.
My girlfriend knew a single mother of 4 children who used to live in Hackney London in a high rise block. She was trapped and felt depressed .She lived in the block for a few years then became a born again christian {tribe} and joined a church and her life was never the same .The church helped her move out of high rise block into a 3 bed house up north .She was no longer alone but had a whole network of friends to help her out and to socialise with.
Another one of my mates was a heroin addict had tried detox many times and always ended up in the same cirlce of friends again he went of to samye-ling Buddhist center in Scotland and had his whole life turn around .
Only 4 years ago my mate jamie heroin aaddict for years got involved in the Mormon church { i know its wacky} and met a mormon girl in the church couple years later now married with a kid on way never looked happier.
