The instrumental that I am looking for is very similar to the one below. It has been used alot as background music in documentaries and probably adverts too. It has the same edgy/anxious feel as the one below. It has a sound in it that is very slightly like electronic whistle/beep. Any help would be much appreciated, I have wanted it for a long time now but dont know what it is called. It would fit well in conspiracy videos :-

Yeah in a WAY it is abit like that but I know where youre coming from Ab. I thought that I would have a specific reference for you but for some reason I cant recall anything specific :emb:

Maybe a car advert. I had always thought that it was on that documentary "One Day in September" but music that is on that is the one that I have posted. They are very similar somehow. It was on a BBC program, maybe on Spooks or something like that.
The whistle/beep on it is the most recognisable part of it - It has a high pitched beep lasting about 2 or 3 beats and another high pitched beep (but a bit lower in tone than the first one) immediatly after the first lasting about 4 beats but MAYBE fading slightly on the 4th beat. The beep is almost like a high pitched whistle.

Sorry to take so long replying but I got sidetracked (in the "real" world lol) and also this forum keeps logging me out. :conf:

She composed the music for the series.

Thanks for the info there, but I am not too convinced that it WAS Spooks, and I dont think that it originated on Spooks, but maybe I'm wrong. It's something to fall back on though if I come to a complete halt with this search. Cheers Feather!
