Beans on toast is quite nutritional though, isn't it? :conf:

And you can always come and be fed at my house when you find yourself in Leamington Spa. DO arrive nakkid.... not that I want sexual favours or anything, you just might as well seeing as you've offered. :D
There is no such thing as Thin Air: Thin Air is full of the particles of creation.

'Tis this:

Beans On Toast430x300

Baked beans in a sugary, tomato based sauce, on lovely, chemically enhanced, white bread. Are you hungry? :norty:

This can be a very tasty meal, if you eat it too often though it can be a very dull meal :chuckle:

We must be psychically in tune!? Or...it could just be that this was the first beany pic we came across, and we're both lazy bastards. :dunno:

I think we both recognised the artistic finesse of that particular pic...I felt the passion from the photographer come through, clearly a person who loves beans on toast.
Not too close, not too far, just the right distance, and a very nice angle as well. The bean run-off in the foreground is the perfect finishing touch. Also, notice how there's no run-off on the crust...leaving it intact and unspoiled, the flour adding an extra little detail and contrast.

It's a beautful photograph.

Another lovely way to spice up baked beans.......

Dice up half an onion
One large tomato

Fry in a little oil and a knob of butter..... until cooked, add the beans, stir until hot, then add lots of black pepper.

This is quite true, irre. I particularly like the way the light playfully bounces off the bean-juice. I think what initially drew my attention to this piece, was the starkness of the white plate in the background, juxtaposed against the rich, deep colours of the bean-juice.

You are also absolutely correct in that the juice run-off is just right. Quite, quite marvellous. I really should take the time to appreciate my art more often, rather than just copy and pasting it.

@ Ab

You took the words right out of my mouth :O I forgot to mention the juxtaposition of the white plate and the bean juice, the clean lines.

What are they? And more importantly, why have you always got a beer in your hand?
