No, people would still partake. There'd just be a fresh influx of labour to the Prison workforce I reckon.

I'll tell you what makes me angry.

You go for a night out - and these days, that's very rare for me, because I usually can't be arsed. You make an effort to look presentable. You then fancy a smoke, so being respectful to the law and other people's comfort you go outside, and because it's invariably windy and / or raining, soon resemble this...



...and still, any non-smoking complete stranger who passes by thinks it's appropriate to make snitty comments to you about smoking on the way past. And they are smug.

They say things like, "Bloody smokers..." (whilst smiling in a friendly way, and clearly anticipating you'll agree with them) "...It's a mug's game. It'll stunt your growth." etc etc.

I generally smile back in an equally friendly manner, and advise them, "Do fuck off, before I stub my cigarette out in your eye".

My husband often tells me not to make him have to fight anybody when we're going out.

I bet you're a right bitch to go out on the piss with. When can we meet up?

What i should have said is they need to take non-violent drug charge cases out of jail and turn at a few major prison facilities into rehab homes for addicts. It just did not come out right i guess i was ranting.
