Anyone here seen it? What did you make of it? I'd like to discuss the ending in particular, but don't want to ruin it for people that have not yet seen it and may wish to.

Any ideas?

Really good movie Abs.

Pirated it months ago. Loved the whole meta explanation as well. Like you though I'd hate to go into too much detail for fear of spoiling it for others.

Whew! I was worried someone was spying on me! :umm: I live in a cabin...in the woods! :O

Actually, I remember seeing the trailer for this. Looks very interesting. Is it on DVD yet?

Should be where you are, K...I watched it by 'other means' however. :secret:

You sly devil!

I feel very fortunate to be where I'm at! I just wish I could put my roots down...I don't own it. I keep worrying the owners will want to sell it or jack up the rent. I'm S.O.L. if I get the boot! But for now, it's mine! :cheer:

Maybe you could raise a mortgage and offer to buy it. Or write to your land-lord asking for first refusal if they ever decide to sell up.

I wish! I'm so broke, though. I keep dreaming of getting an Airstream, a yurt(why are they so fucking expensive), or a micro house so that I'll never be without a home. But right now, I'm barely staying afloat! It's a good suggestion, though! Who knows, maybe one day things will change! Maybe they could give me a rent-to-buy option? Ooops.... :jakd: :sorry:

It shouldn't be that expensive when it does finally hit DVD, Gilly?

I'm becoming a right derailer lately, aren't I! :emb:

I'm pretty sure Sarah's seen Cabin in the Woods, and said it was brilliant. Or did she say she wanted to see it 'cause it looked brilliant? :dunno:

Having seen a trailer connected with some new film release comp a while back, it looks intriguing. That's all I know.

I'm typing small, hoping Abs won't notice.

I wonder what a pre-loved shepherd's hut would cost - maybe on terms (and whether that would be big enough). Have you had a look?

:killinme: I'll look into it...not sure what a sheherd's hut is but it sounds cool!

Anybody see Abs around?... :hide:

Actually, in regards to the original topic, I've always been a fan of horror but modern horror has really been sucky. This movie, however, looks really unique. Not what I was expecting from the title. Good to hear positive reviews! Most of the time, when a trailer looks good the film ends up sucking hard core(The Fourth Kind).

That film looks a bit too scary for me. I had to hide behind Mr Pumpshaft at times during episodes of Walking Dead!

Btw K-Bone, that skull in your avatar, is that yours? (not as in is that your actual skull...you know what I mean :))

Thanks for that DG

I checked with Sarah, & she has seen it & said it was really good - not the usual slasher type stuff that she likes & I don't. So I'll be watching it, thanks to you! :)

NP

At first, it appears to be just yet another slasher movie (and it certainly does have its gory moments), but all is not as it seems...

I shall say no more... ;)

*edit* You don't have to join the Ichannel site in order to stream the movies btw folks.
